Dairy Cottage

Great cottage. Excellent location. All good !! Positive: This three bed cottage is great ! 20 minutes walk through some fields ( not suitable for disabled as use styles ) but 3 mins in car to Main Street Bamburgh. Hot tub that’s shared with other guests is clean. Hot and very high speck. Table tennis table and gym great entertainment! Garden area is gated off so very dog friendly.

Relaxing time with family exploring the local area Positive: The cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. Everything neat and tidy and well equipped. Located as we expected - very quiet (apart from early arrival of garbage truck - necessary I know!). Are thinking about booking next year for the whole family. Negative: Silly thing - there was no glass recycling bin.

Overall we had a lovely stay and weather was good. Positive: Location excellent Negative: The en-suite toilet had no extractor and toilet needed to be fully cleaned.

Positive: The cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches . Generous welcome pack , helpful info , great facilities ' on the door step' ( tennis courts , table tennis , gym , football net,) Outdoor furniture on the private decking . Negative: Unfortunately the kitchen equipment was not as clean as it should have been . This may have been an oversight . We washed quite a few cups , cutlery etc . The work tops were ok once we wiped them down . The equipment, crockery , glasses are plentiful . Oven gloves needed .

Positive: Location was great ideal for visiting Bamburgh, Seahouses,Holy Island, Alnwick. The facilities, hot tub, community room play area for children all very good. The cottage was a good size and well equipped. Negative: The cottage was not as clean as we would have liked.
