Lovely cottage in beautiful countryside. Dog friendly enclosed garden, sadly the weather wasn’t good during our stay so we didn’t get to make the most of it! Very well equipped kitchen and great extension with dining area. The welcome pack was a nice touch and we enjoyed the goodies in it!

We had a perfect stay at Spindlestone. It is a beautifully quiet location just a short drive from Bamburgh. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog, with lovely quiet walks nearby. We were very lucky with the weather so spent a lot of time soaking up the sun in the garden and then looking at the stars through the glass roof in the kitchen/diner. Had it been raining, the cottage was so cosy, and the games room would definitely have been used! The cottage was immaculate, and the added touches were so lovely (little freebies for local places, and a gorgeous hamper of local supplies). The bed was probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept in! We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Perfect for a short break. Positive: The quiet, the breadth of practical necessities, parking, proximately to the coast.

Positive: Well presented cottage that I would definitely stay in again. It was clean and convenient for beautiful local walks and runs. Negative: You need to check the garden for dog poo in between guests please. The master bedroom was really cold. Please let guests know that no cot sheet is provided. If arriving at night it is impossible to find as there are no signs.
