Stable Cottage

A really lovely place to stay, just a short walk from Bamburgh Positive: Location, space, convenience Negative: Some fixtures a little tired - dining chairs need urgent replacement as squabs have sagged, main sink tap very stiff.

Fabulous location, cottage & facilities on a beautiful, historic coast. Had a lovely stay! Positive: Stable Cottage and the other associated cottages on site are in a marvellous location, within walking distance of Bamburgh with its wonderful beach and castle. It is also a very convenient base to explore the Northumbrian coast visiting places such Seahouses (with boat trips to see seals, puffins etc on the Farne Islands, Holy Island / Lindesfarne, Alnwick Castle, Berwick etc. Stable Cottage had all the facilities to make for a marvellous stay, including free use of a small gym, tennis courts and shared hot tub. The cottage was clean and comfortable with lots of information and a lovely welcome pack provided by the owner. It had good wi-fi access. Communications from the owner were excellent. We thoroughly recommend it and had a wonderful stay. Negative: Nothing at all.
