Positive: Amazing location Clean , warm and cosy Negative: Nothing - would definitely recommend this house for 4 people

A relaxing and beautiful mini break Positive: Well thought through and lovely and comfortable. Suitable for all ages and our little dog was very settled too. Got good use of the hot tub and my children enjoyed using the table tennis area also. Bamburgh is a lovely area and we’d love to use the cottage again!

We were looking for a relaxing break away from the speed and pressures of life and certainly got it Positive: Location close to Bamburgh and it's fabulous beach Dog friendly Log burning stove Great shower Very comfortable double bed Plenty of room Negative: Dining room chairs were a bit saggy A couple of knobs on the oven were broken The log burning stove had not previously been cleaned out properly Had a power cut which is not the hosts fault

Stayed for 3 nights mid week. Initially the cottage seemed fine. Location was fab, very peaceful but near to Bamburgh and the village, although parking in the village was nigh impossible. Everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay, no issues with the kitchen, heating, shower all great. Cleanliness ! Was sadly below expectations, mainly the floor and the soft furnishings. The floor needed a good scrub, not just a mop, the bathroom tiles especially the floor again needed a deep clean. The cushions on the seating were grubby, smudges of food or pet saliva were present . The throw on the bed, didn’t look or feel freshly laundered . The sheets were spotless !! Overall a decent stay, but I spent the evenings wanting to clean, to the extent I got the vac out to go round the edges !
