Budle Newton Cottage

Positive: Everything. This is a fabulous place

Stunning location and great hot tub, however the cottage itself is getting tired in places. The double bedroom downstairs although a double bedframe but not a double mattress and the ensuite here needs a complete upgrade, I felt we paid rather a lot for this cottage and expected everything to be pristine when we moved the cupboards in the twin room downstairs to put the beds together, it was filthy behind the cupboards when the company charges you an extra £120 cleaning fee again you expect better than . The barbecue was not clean there was food left in it however the location the Hot Tub pool table et cetera were fantastic and we would stay here again but not at that price.

Firstly, we couldn't find the cottage. A new/ better sign would be helpful for guests. Otherwise, a really beautiful location. close to the beach and castles. We liked Bamburgh too. All the rooms could do with a deep clean or a regular clean for the price as it wasn't cheap The hot tub & the billiards table were great for the teenagers in our family. We loved the living space. thank you

Very pleasant and great location but missing small things already noted. Positive: Location and space! Negative: Very little amount or not at all essentials for cooking/kitchen (salt, sugar, oil, fairy liquid, dish washer tablets, etc). The dishwasher didn't clean properly. And some of the cutlery, china and glasses were not clean when we arrived. The house was not pristine clean either.

The cottage was great, and the views over the bay and across to Lindisfarne were amazing. It was just as described and the little extras were a nice touch. It was a perfect place to celebrate a special family birthday and we didn't have to drive far to find lots of things to do, although staying at the cottage was also just so nice. We all enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be back sometime.
