Babbling Burn Cottage

Will be returning Positive: Beautiful property. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked . Negative: Nothing it was perfect. The only thing that was difficult was the distance to a corner shop or supermarket so take what you need with you . The welcome bag with milk tea & coffee and voucher for sausages was a lovely touch

Beautiful cottage in peaceful location with good access to Northumberland coast Positive: Great location for the coast; peaceful surroundings; beautifully appointed and maintained property, very clean Negative: The hand soap!! It smells like aeroplane soap. I think I expected something better given the overall excellence of the property

The whole thing was a non relaxing stay, it was a nightmare to find, no facilities close by so you have to drive everywh Positive: The beds were good and the bedding was clean , plenty of towels Negative: Where it was meant you had to take enough food etc because you can’t walk anywhere, no pub etc close by, very isolated will need a car just to go for dinner etc, quite dark inside as kitchen is dark and the cottage is surrounded by walls at the back, no safe garden area for children or dogs

Positive: The shower. Negative: The house was too hot and the heating was too slow to moderate. The noisy heat pump in the garden kept us awake. The 2nd bathroom was very cramped. The bridge was closed. The kitchen was dark. The TV viewing angle from the sofa was too high.
