Cherry Tree House

Great base to explore the surrounding coast and towns and fantastic weather really helped. Positive: Had everything we needed and was in a great and cute location. Really flexible in allowing an additional (mini sausage) dog on top of our other two medium doggies.

Positive: Cherry Tree house was in an excellent location with only a short walk to the Harbour. The house was extremely comfortable, well kitted out and to a high standard. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Benefitted from a back and front garden. Located down a single road with pretty colourful houses and gardens. Lovely friendly neighbours. North East Escapes, the hosts, contacted us prior to our arrival with all the necessary information. On arrival there was a very luxurious welcome bag (biscuits, fudge, coffee, tea, milk etc!), which was very much appreciated. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at the house and would not hesitate to highly recommend a stay here. Negative: Nothing - was worried about not being able to park outside the property but there were plenty of free spaces in nearby streets.

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lots of great pubs and fish and chip shops nearby and a great base for exploring the amazing Northumberland coastline. We would stay again!

Enjoyable break at the house. Lovely, friendly neighbours. Positive: Bright airy house with good kitchen. Clean & tidy apart from the lounge furniture. Negative: Furniture could have done with a good clean. There were stains on the chair in the lounge & the sofa looked similar.

Positive: Cottage was very clean and spacious Negative: Car parking was a real problem
